Après Ski
The early evening at the Schatzi Bar is dedicated to the “Hiatamadln Après Ski”. When the pretty girls in their typical Austrian dirndl dresses dance on the bar, the party knows no limits anymore.
At around 4pm the run to the Schatzi Bar starts in the whole ski area and even in the Ice Bar. The faces of all visitors show a knowing smile, as if they knew something? It’s clear the “Hiatamadln” girls of the Schatzi Bar and the whole atmosphere at the now Après Ski Party focussed bar is the Après Ski highlight in the whole of Ischgl.
The beats start to get louder, the barkeepers notch it up a gear and then the girls appear. Each one more beautiful than the last. The outfits: typical Tyrolean dresses. The first happy cries can be heard from the crowd, when the ladies step up onto the bar. Yes, the Hiatamadln girls know how to move their bodies – that is for sure!
The happy party lasts approximately three hours. It doesn’t sound that much. But the things that happen in those three hours are things that could fill whole books. When the Hiatamadln then disappear to the sounds of a last murmur from the crowd, a number of possibilities for further Après Ski adventures are at hand.
